Hundreds in trucks, private cars and motorbikes, as well as pedestrians, participated in an Israeli ‘Freedom Convoy’ rally in Jerusalem on Monday.
Supporters gathered along the highway greeting the protest motorcade banners whilst chanting.
“Today I am here to support freedom, to end this tyranny that has been done in the name of COVID over the last couple of years,” said protester Johnatan, calling on citizens ‘to stand up and do their job’ to ‘hold the government accountable.’
“We are not in an emergency, we don’t want to be told what to do,” said convoy driver Nadin.
Nadin added that the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions were ‘an attempt to create a new world order.’
“We want our freedom back,” Nadine continued.
The protest took place in support of the Canadian ‘Freedom Convoy’ truckers protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
