The annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration which takes place in the streets of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, is planned to take place bigger than ever this year.
Organized under the auspices of longtime organizer Rabbi Yisroel Shemtov, who has been arranging and funding the annual celebration for nearly 40 years, the nightly celebration during Chol Hamoed Sukkos features the biggest stars in Jewish music and draws tens of thousands of Jews of all walks of life to Crown Heights.
“The Simchas Beis Hashoeva events were very precious to the Rebbe,” Rabbi Shemtov said. “He asked to get a report every morning from how it was the night before. The Rebbe took a personal interest.”
This year, the events are being organized by a group of Crown Heights activists, who are planning the biggest and best celebration in years.
Entertainment this year will include singing stars Eli Marcus, Shlomo Simcha, Uncle Moshe and musicians Avremi G, Chony Milecki, Fitche Benshimon, KumTantz Band, Yossi Cohen, Yehuda Piamenta and Mendy Piamenta, and The Kapelye Choir.
The event will be streamed live nightly on COLlive.com, a proud corporate sponsor of the event.

Simchas Beis Hashoeva
For many, the highlight of the entire month of Tishrei.
The music, dancing into the night, the genuine and palpable simcha being amongst brothers and sisters in celebration and unity.
Every year, a fundraiser is launched to help offset the considerable overhead required to produce such a beautiful event, and every year, generous donors step forward and contribute to this beautiful cause.
Last year, with all the restrictions and limitations caused by the Coronavirus, the organizers bravely put forth the idea of a “Simchas Beis Hashoeva Float,” which drove around the neighborhood playing live music.
This year, Boruch Hashem we are extremely grateful to be able to return to a certain degree of normalcy.
This year, we thought it would be appropriate to have a unique structure to the fundraiser, where we can promote unity and achdus.
As such, we are proposing a fundraiser comprised of 1,000 unique donors, each contributing $100, to raise a total of $100,000!
Let us come together as a community and showcase the power of a community united. 1,000 donations to keep the Simcha of Yom Tov alive!
