VIN News – Brooklyn, NY – While many Brooklyn residents come to the Caesar’s Bay Bazaar shopping center, picturesquely perched on the edge of Gravesend Bay, to enjoy the water or ones a year to say Tashlich, they are completely unaware that spending those few minutes at the water’s edge may result in having their car towed, with a hefty fine.
Signs at the shopping center on Bay Parkway clearly state that the private parking lot’s 1200 spots are intended for use only by shoppers and that vehicles left for any length of time by non-shoppers will be towed. Owners of the shopping center, which features a Best Buy, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Kohls and Modells, are vigilant about enforcing their shoppers-only parking policy.
Dee Voch photographer Hershey Rubinstein, caught last night the tow truck in action, towing car after car, from the parking lot.
