Our chinuch system as we know it is under attack.
In recent months, the foundations of Klal Yisroel have been placed in jeopardy, with outside forces threatening to undermine the chinuch of every Jewish child in New York. Government and public school intervention in our schools has become a frighteningly real possibility, and after a weeks-long campaign to prevent this unacceptable intrusion, we continue to daven that we not lose the right to raise our children according to the mesorah that has sustained us for generations.
Since the start of this crisis, Klal Yisroel has joined together with one heart and one voice. Answering the call of gedolim and rabbonim, we have davened together, signed petitions expressing our unyielding opposition to these new regulations and done our part to spread the message of truth – highlighting both the beauty and the successes of a yeshiva education. Time and time again, PEARLS has led the charge, representing every single Jewish school institution and community, an effort that comes at tremendous financial cost. And just as PEARLS has stepped up for the Klal Yisroel, the time has come for Klal Yisroel has to step up for PEARLS so that it can continue its critical efforts in the battle on behalf of our precious children.
Those who seek to eradicate yiddishkeit have raised millions to destroy our schools.

Public Relations: Taking our message to the streets and dispelling misinformation about our community
Various other activities: Stepping up to fight for the Jewish community, both in and out of the spotlight and in ways both large and small

טאטעס און מאמעס זענען מתפּלל, אידישע קינדער איין, אַז מ׳זאל אונז חס ושלום נישט אוועקנעמען די רעכטן אויף אונזערע אייגענע קינדערלעך, און מיר זאלן זיי קענען מחנך זיין לויט אונזער הייליגע תורה, לויט אונזער הייליגע מסורה!
