*LAST NIGHT:* 7,000 Jewish teens from 60 countries filled Times Square for a bold and defiant display of unapologetic Jewish pride, leadership, and action, a highlight of the CTeen International Shabbaton, the largest gathering of Jewish teens in the world. In a year when Jewish students faced hostility in schools, online, and on campus, these teens stood together to send a clear message: the Jewish people are alive and well.
Alongside Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky of Chabad Headquarters, their CTeen Shluchim, Jewish celebrities, and Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, they danced, sang, led a public Siyum HaRambam, koshered a food truck live in Times Square, and prayed for Israel and the hostages still held in Gaza. They ended the night with a historic Havdalah ceremony, turning the heart of New York City into a celebration of unapologetic Judaism and unbreakable resilience.
