Manhattan, NY – A large fire broke out at a mixed occupied building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side injuring some and forcing the evacuation of many others.

The fire is raging through the roof of the 20×80 six-story building at 285 Grand Street and Forsyth St.

Fire Department requested 7th Alarm and pulled all their men from the structure, fighting the fire from the outside only.
