A brawl broke out between Pro-Israel protesters including a group called ‘Jews for Trump’ and pro-Palestine counter-protesters in New York City’s Times Square, shortly after the anouncement of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, on Thursday.

The groups can be seen arguing before clashes break out, with police stepping in to separate them.

In recent days, rockets fired from the Gaza Strip have killed 12 people in Israel, including two children, as the government reports. Israeli airstrikes in turn have killed at least 230 people, including 65 children according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The ceasefire between Hamas and Israel came into force on Friday (23:00 GMT, Thursday).
