About Artist: Just a simple Jew sharing words from the heart.
The lyrics of the song come from the precious pasuk in Tehillim 139:8 which states: אִם אֶסַּק שָׁמַיִם, שָׁם אָתָּה; וְאַצִּיעָה שְּׁאוֹל הִנֶּךָּ Im esak shamayim, sham Ata; ve’atzia she’ol hineka If I ascend to the heavens, there You are (Hashem) ; and if I descend to the lowest place, there You are (Hashem). “Let Him In” is a song that relates to all of us. It’s about a Jew, on his or her journey through life serving Hashem, expressing how we all have ups and downs. The “ups” can be understood as times when we’re following the ways of Hashem, and the “downs” can be understood as times when we fall and do things that we know Hashem doesn’t want us to do. Wherever we are holding on the sliding scale, “Let Him In” reminds us that Hashem is with us during both the “ups” and the “downs,” and encourages us to go to a private place and speak to Him about what’s going on in our lives.
