Israeli nationalists marched through East Jerusalem on Tuesday, after two previous attempts to stage a rally there were banned over security fears.

Participants of the annual ‘Flag March’ celebrate the capture of Jerusalem in the aftermath of the 1967 Six-Day War.

A number of Palestinian factions, including Hamas, called for their supporters to mobilize and confront the rally.
