Mefoar Judaica partnered with Achim B’Yachad, a project of Chai Lifeline, to bring entertainment to cancer patients that are home bound due to extended quarantine.

Due to the high contagion risk for children stricken with cancer, many ill children are stuck home for months on end. In order to alleviate their boredom, Achim B’Yachad approached Mr. Roth of Meforar Judaica with an interesting proposition.

They would bring down a video crew and capture a fascinating view of the Mefoar headquarters with an inside tour of production, product development and a behind the scenes secret preview.

Mefoar Judaica was honored to be involved in such an endeavor. They filmed a grand walkthrough. Every employee spoke of their department, explaining to the children what they’re in charge of, how things work, and gave informative tutorials on different aspects of their responsibilities.

The children got an explanation on each item, saw products being customized in real time and were even allowed a sneak preview on new items that are set to be released.

What got the kids really pumped was the appearance of the Middos Rebbe, R’ Leibish Lish, who served as the tour guide alongside Mefoar’s CEO R’ Yanky Roth.

The children couldn’t get enough of the rich, informative and of course highly confidential video shoot and were not shy in expressing their excitement and gratitude.

“The best part was seeing Kopele in the store and the way a tzitzis was monogrammed with the Achim B’Yachad logo. It really made me happy.”
