Experience the beauty of “Niggun HaPilpul”, a soul-stirring Chabad classic. This moving melody is uniquely based on the traditional Jewish style of questions and answers (קשיא and תירוץ).
“The niggun is built in a question-answer format. What the first refrain demands and questions, the following refrain answers, justifies and settles. The following refrains climb and ascend, dismantle and build, challenge and respond, in a similar pattern to that of a pilpul in Gemara.” (Adapted from Sefer Haniggunim)
The niggun is a sacred song within the Chassidic community of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Performed by the acclaimed Shira Choir, conducted by Yoely Horowitz, alongside talented soloist Shloma Zalmen Horowitz with the music artfully arranged by Mendy Hershkowitz. Recorded live at a Hachnosas Sefer Torah celebration, this video captures the spirit and passion of this beloved song.
