Born from the respected legacy of Rabbi Aharon Asayag’s Ya’adir Torah BaNegev, Mateh Hachessed serves as an essential lifeline, dedicated to supporting families from the Negev who face the aftermath of the October 7th massacre, ongoing conflict, and the ensuing challenges of displacement.
Mateh Hachessed offers comprehensive physical, emotional, and financial support to thousands of displaced Yidden. It combines meticulous care with strategic planning and efficient systems, ensuring that every aspect of its operations delivers immediate and significant aid.
The organization’s Chesed Hotline, operated by six volunteers and two supervisors, efficiently sorts incoming calls by urgency and topic, connecting callers swiftly to the appropriate department heads:

Focused on early intervention, Mateh Hachessed aims to mitigate long-term emotional and financial consequences, supporting each family’s stable journey towards recovery.
