Moments before the International March of the Living began, President of Israel Isaac Herzog introduced released hostage Eli Sharabi to the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. Sharabi, who was released from Hamas captivity after 491 days, tells President Duda being free is a “miracle” to him.

Sharabi was released from captivity only to discover his wife and two daughters were murdered on October 7th. He shares his story around the world calling for the release of the remaining hostages, including the body of his brother Yossi Sharabi, which is still in Hamas captivity.
