The Israeli city of Bnei Brak was hit by a protest of members of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, Sunday.

People protested against the coronavirus restrictions and a three-week quarantine recently re-imposed following a surge in cases.

As restrictions forbid travel of more than a kilometer away from home, except for urgent needs, some protesters were reportedly suspected to use the right to demonstrate as an opportunity to travel home and back for the Rosh Hashanah celebrations.
