The Am Yisrael Chai Foundation was founded by Shmuel Sackett in 2001. He runs the Foundation to this very day. Shmuel has tremendous experience in running non-profit organizations and he has built AYC into a very serious Foundation that supports many wonderful causes, as listed above. AYC does not have and NEVER had any paid employees or rent. Everybody involved with AYC volunteers his/her time.
