We sat down with R’ Yakov Yitzchok Trainer in the Tomchei Shabbos office (not the warehouse this time!) to hear an urgent update for the Lakewood community.

He shares the black-and-white reality—literally showing the approved paperwork for each family. These are not guesses. Every family listed was thoroughly vetted and approved by the Vaad after careful research into their specific needs for Yom Tov.

The approved families receive their own private pickup times to protect Kavod Habriyos, ensuring dignity and discretion.

But here’s the emergency:
There’s a growing pile of pending families—applications waiting for approval—but we’re mamish stuck because of a lack of funds.
