A new round of clashes hit the mixed Arab-Jewish town of Lod on Thursday.
Arab residents were seen running as sound of live gunshots were heard. An injured Jewish person was evacuated, while Israeli forces arrested several suspects.
Several nights of violence took over the streets of Lod, prompting the authorities to declare a state of emergency in the city.
Despite a night curfew, Arab residents rioted while Jewish extremists took to the streets, and burned Arab cars and property.
The riots came as violence has erupted in recent days amid protests in East Jerusalem over possible evictions of Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood. Clashes that began at the al-Aqsa compound escalated into an exchange of rockets between Hamas and Israel on Monday.
