An evening of inspiration and rededication will take place this Wednesday at Razag Ballroom for men and women to mark 70 years since Yud Shvat.
To Build a Beautiful World, an evening of inspiration and rededication to our mission, will take place this Wednesday evening, Yud Alef Shvat, at The Razag Ballroom beginning at 8pm. The event is open to men and women from all communities, and will be broadcasted live at both the event website https://tobuildabeautifulworld.com/ and COLlive for those unable to attend in person.
The special evening, marking 70 years of the Rebbe’s leadership and the Hilula of the Frierdiker Rebbe, will be addressed by Rabbi Shais Taub, a known lecturer an author in the wider Jewish community. His presentation will be divided into four sections highlighting four topics: Our Rebbe, Our Generation, Our Connection and Our Mission. Each section will be accompanied by a stirring musical presentation led by Eli Marcus and The Rabin Brothers, along with an 8-piece orchestra directed by Avremi G.
The orchestra will perform a Soulful Seder Niggunim following Rabbi Taub’s presentation. Admission is $15 and light refreshments will be served.
“We are looking forward to special evening, bringing together members of all communities to rededicate ourselves to our mission,” said Menachem Benchemon, organizer of the event. “This event is not strictly for the Chabad community. Members of many different communities will be in attendance to mark this special day.”
“With Hashem’s help, we are expecting this to be a very powerful, even monumental event”, said Menachem. “This event has the power to be a transformative evening for many people, B’ezras Hashem.”
Menachem described the planned event as being “focused, and organized, with the goal of motivating attendees to leave with both a clear understanding and actionable takeaways of the work that needs to be done.”
Many local shuls have scheduled their main Yud Shvat Farbrengens on other nights in order to attend this event as a community. Many guests from out of town, who are visiting for Yud Shvat, planned their trips specially to attend this special event.
“This evening is a special opportunity for us to come together as a wider community,” Menachem says, “and to rededicate ourselves to the mission we were entrusted with: To Build a Beautiful World.”
