This video is a heartfelt tribute to our dearest friend, Yisroel Shulem (Sruly) Oshry Z”L, who tragically passed away this past summer. Through interviews with family, friends, and colleagues, we celebrate the incredible human being Sruly was—a man who touched the lives of everyone around him.
Sruly was the kindest soul, a devoted husband and father, and a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He uplifted those around him with his warmth, gave Tzedakah with the biggest smile to anyone in need, and made everyone feel as though they were his closest friend. His boundless compassion, generosity, and unwavering positivity created a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Although Sruly is no longer with us, his spirit continues to inspire us. The tremendous void he leaves behind reminds us of our responsibility to carry his light forward. To honor Sruly’s memory and elevate his Neshama, we can follow in his footsteps—through acts of kindness, giving Tzedakah, offering a kind word, or simply being a listening ear to someone in need.
